Job evaluation back pay
If you were due back pay for your current job as a result of job evaluation, you should find this payment has been included on your November payslip. Please check the information on your payslip carefully.
The Job Evaluation and payroll teams received over 300 queries relating to November's payslips. The teams aim to respond to these by December 18, 2008.
If you are due back pay as a result of job evaluation for any previous jobs you held since January 1, 2007, and you haven't already received arrears for this in November, it will be paid by December 23, 2008. Thank you to everyone involved in making sure these payments are made and in dealing with the queries.
If you have any questions relating to your back pay payment, please call the Job Evaluation Helpline on 424 6677 and we will assist in resolving your query. We request that you do not contact your payroll team directly. Please note the Job Evaluation Helpline will be closed from lunchtime December 24, 2008 and will re-open on January 5, 2009.
Job evaluation - payroll implementation
- New job evaluation pay bands have been implemented from 1 September 2008
- Employees at the bottom of a pay band have received an increment from 1 October 2008
- Back pay through job evaluation has been included in November payslips
- Employees at the second point of a pay band or who have had their increments honoured will receive an increment from 1 April 2009
Appeals
The deadline for submitting completed appeal documents has now passed.
It is essential that employees who wanted to appeal have completed the standard appeals form and sent it to the Job Evaluation team.
If you have previously telephoned the Job Evaluation helpline or sent an email to the Job Evaluation email address to log your appeal, this will only be considered a query and will NOT be actioned as an appeal.
